Dr Wynne Sum graduated from the University of Sydney and completed her radiology training at Concord Hospital. She then embarked on a 12-month cross-sectional fellowship at St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Canada before returning to Concord Hospital as a Staff Specialist from 2006-2023 and as a Visiting Medical Officer at Nepean Hospital from 2008. She joined North Shore Radiology in 2021 and moved over to the Royal North Shore Hospital campus in 2023.
Wynne is affiliated with the University of Sydney Medical School and has been actively involved in radiology training, serving as Director of Training at Concord Hospital from 2011-2018, NSW Local Area Network (LAN 1) Training Director from 2025 as well as a current cardiothoracic and abdominal OSCER examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR).
Wynne has special interests in cardiothoracic and body imaging and is accredited for cardiac CT (Level B) and MRI reporting. She is currently a member of the Australian/New Zealand cardiac MRI conjoint committee responsible for cardiac MRI certification.
