Dr Nicholas Chieng graduated from the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2012. He was awarded the senior prize in medicine and surgery in 2008. He undertook his Radiology training in New Zealand and completed an MRI fellowship at North Shore Hospital in Auckland before obtaining his FRANZCR in 2021. He subsequently completed 2 years of additional Nuclear Medicine specialist training at Liverpool and Royal North Shore Hospitals in Sydney before obtaining his FAANMS in 2023.
As a dual qualified radiologist and nuclear medicine specialist, Nicholas has a keen interest in PET/CT, theranostics and oncological imaging in addition to cardiothoracic imaging and neuroradiology and has published research in peer reviewed journals in these areas.
