Dr Sebastian Fung undertook his medical training in the University of Sydney, graduating with first class honours, before embarking on specialist training in radiology in Westmead hospital, Sydney. He accomplished his specialist qualifications in 2004 when he was awarded the M. G. F. Donnan Prize for best candidate for the FRANZCR Part II pathology examination. He furthered his training with a Paediatric Radiology Fellowship at Westmead Children’s Hospital. This was followed by a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, where he was awarded the Charles L. Christian Award for excellence in musculoskeletal research for his study on “Stratification of Cartilage Injury Following Isolated ACL Injury”.
Dr Fung’s particular areas of expertise include musculoskeletal, spinal and neurological imaging, as well as musculoskeletal and spinal therapeutic procedures.
