Dr Katerina Mastrocostas graduated from the University of New South Wales (Hons) in 2007. She completed Junior Medical Officer training at Royal North Shore Hospital in 2008-2009, and Radiology training at Concord and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals in Sydney in 2010-2014. She attained FRANZCR in February 2015.
Katerina completed Cross-Sectional Imaging and Abdominal Imaging Fellowships at the University of Toronto, Canada, where she worked in 2015-2017. On her return to Australia, she worked as a Staff Specialist Radiologist at Concord Hospital for 4 years, before moving to Royal North Shore Hospital in 2021. She joined North Shore Radiology & Nuclear Medicine in 2023.
Katerina’s areas of clinical interest include Hepatobiliary/Pancreas and advanced Bowel imaging, participating in clinical meetings across these areas at RNSH. Her research and professional development interests are in health care efficacy and clinical governance.
