Dr Santangelo graduated in Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 2003 with First Class Honours. She completed her specialist radiology training at Concord Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Breast Imaging at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Dr Santangelo is an experienced general radiologist with particular expertise in breast imaging and a special interest in oncological imaging. Her practice encompasses all aspects of breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI and image-guided breast procedures. She has been a Staff Specialist at Concord Hospital and an accredited BreastScreen NSW radiologist since 2011, with extensive experience in private practice.
She regularly participates in breast and colorectal cancer multidisciplinary meetings and has a strong interest in radiology education, having previously served as Director of Training and as a RANZCR College Examiner.
